Corn Chowder

We give it a solid A
Makes about 4 servings

Recipe:

Ingredients-
1/2 lb bacon (I use turkey bacon)
          2 cups red potatoes
          1 cup chopped onions
1 cup sour cream (plain yogurt)
          3/4 cup milk
1 can cream of chicken soup (do not add water)
2 can whole corn with water

Directions-
Cut up bacon.  Cook bacon, onion, and potatoes together for about 20 minutes (or until bacon is brown and onions are cooked through)

Put into crockpot.

Add sour cream, milk, cream of chicken soup and corn.

Cook on high for 2 hours.

NOTES:
1.  If  you decide to use turkey bacon instead of pork, add a little bit of olive oil on the bottom of the pan before cooking the bacon, onions, and potatoes.  The turkey bacon doesn't create enough oil to brown the onion and potoatoes!
2. Althuogh the recipe says to cook in a crockpot I usually cook in a large pot.  Just do everything the same but cook on medium (make sure it does get to a hard boil) and just cook till the potatoes are tender.

  3. Hahaha, thanks! Amy I actually didn't take the mian picture for each post. All mine looked unappetizing, so the main pictures are from Google! Some of them are actually from the real recipes so they are pictures of what they really ard... and the other ones do really look like the food, it just isn't my photography!
