Mom's Spaghetti

So this recipe is my mother-in-law's spaghetti sauce recipe, and it is TRULY the best Spaghetti I've EVER had!!!!!  SOOOOOOOOOOO much better than a jar sauce!  Also you can change it up however you like, for example if you're more partial to a mushroom sauce than add more mushrooms (or you can take them out all together if you don't like them!)... Garlic sauce add some fresh garlic to it (TASTY)!  Ok so here goes! :)

We give it a solid A+
Makes about 4-6 servings

Recipe:

Ingredients-
1 lb ground beef, turkey (or sausage)
2 cups diced onion (about 1 medium)
          salt to taste
          chili powder to taste
1 cup diced mushrooms (or MORE!)
               - optional
          1 6oz can tomato paste
          1 15oz can tomato sauce
          1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
          Worchestchire sauce to taste
          Oregano to taste

Directions-
Combine meat, onion, salt, chili powder and mushroomes together in a large pot.  Cook until meat is brown and onion are soft.  Drain off grease.

Add tomoato paste, tomato sauce, tomato soup, and cream of mushroom soup, and stir to mix. Add worchestchire sauce and oregano.  Taste to make sure it's how you want it!  Add more worchestchire and oregano if you need to!

Simmer on low till hot (bubbling), probably for 10-15 minutes.

Serve over noodles with parmesean cheese!  YUM!

  1. This sounds so delicious! I've been looking for a good spaghetti recipe since Costco stopped selling bulk of the spaghetti powder mix I grew up on...plus...no Costco here anyway...

  2. Oooh! Love the rating system by the way. Definitely helpful in deciding things to try or not to try. It's always nice to have a friend's opinion before venturing in uncharted territory. :)
